Welcome to The Education Project 2010 !
We are delighted to announce the dates for The Education Project 2010: 8-10 October.
We will again gather in Bahrain to continue the work we started in October 2009, to facilitate real change in education.
You can view the video from last year here as well as photos and media coverage.
The Education Project was launched last year to bring together educators of all levels, to identify seedlings of success that can be replicated in systems around the world, and to bring about change at all levels as quickly and effectively as possible.
Our agenda for the event in 2009 had no political agenda: real practitioners could address challenges with industry leaders, as well as the public and private sector.
This will again be the case for 2010.
We will continue to focus on action and outcomes, and we are already hearing of programmes and initiatives that have been set up in a number of different countries as a direct result of bringing people together at The Education Project in 2009.
The Project will bring together experts from all facts of education as well as other key stakeholders. The conference will provide the platform for an open, solutions-seeking discussion involving all key stakeholders in education.
As well as identifying seedlings of success, the event will foster the sharing of experience and elicit commitments on the part of attendees to implement one or more seedlings at home.
The event will comprise two days of highly interactive workshops and plenary sessions, and will provide open debate among education experts and government leaders from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Together we are creating an education community that has the ability to make change happen, by integrating new methods and tools within their own institutions.
