Community section

The Education Project was set up by HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Economic Development Board, to look at solutions for the gap in quality of the global education system. The Project, an annual event for solutions to global educational challenges, will be inaugurated in the Kingdom of Bahrain, on October 15-17, 2009.

We are bringing together experts from all facets of education from pre-school to higher education, both for two days of debate in Bahrain but also to create a global community of education professionals that want to make a difference. We want to maintain open, solutions-seeking discussions after the event, including identifying deliverables for action during the year ahead.
