Anwer works with the region’s government agencies and departments on initiatives to use ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) to impact the country’s social and economic development. The initiatives and projects spanned from e-government agencies, education departments and institutes, to other ministries and service providers.

Prior to joining Cisco, he held various technical managerial positions including the Service Delivery Manager at Omnes (a Schlumberger-Cable&Wireless company focused on network integration and ISP services to Telcos, ISPs and the Oil Industry), and before that he was Director of Networking Services at Telematics.
